These symptoms may be the result of vestibular dysfunction. The vestibular system includes the vestibular organ, located in the inner ear, and the parts of the brain that interpret vestibular information. It is responsible for balance, hearing, and contributes to clear vision.
Many people experiencing vestibular symptoms may not feel well enough to drive or attend a healthcare appointment, which can delay assessment and treatment. Once they do seek help, they often struggle to find a knowledgeable and skilled vestibular clinician that understands how to manage their symptoms and has the equipment to do so effectively.
The vision of the Sydney Mobile Vertigo Clinic is to provide high quality and accessible vestibular management to you in the comfort of your own home using advanced technology.
Using infrared goggles for vestibular assessment is considered the "Gold Standard" by the professional vestibular community because this technology improves diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficacy, which means better outcomes for patients.
